Adam Villanueva


Adam Villanueva, counsel, is a trademark and technology attorney who represents small business owners and creatives to protect their intellectual property, business interest, and their personal or business image.

In addition to providing strategic guidance and counseling, Adam has represented companies before the United Stated Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), as well as assisted artists of all mediums to protect their work by filing for copyright protection before the Library of Congress.

Further, Adam has negotiated and drafted various license agreements, trademark co-existence agreements, intellectual property consent agreements, domain transfer agreements, and various settlement agreements with companies such as SALT LIFE, UNDER ARMOUR, The United States Olympic Committee (USOC), Blue Cross of America, The National Football Players Association, Queen Latifah, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and other international corporations. His aim is to provide novel solutions when the odds seem to be against a client based on previous success and quick thinking.

Adam has also assisted a myriad of online businesses protect their interests by crafting custom terms of use, privacy policies, and end user license agreements for e-commerce companies, mobile application developers, software developers, and social networking companies.

When not helping clients, Adam likes to write short stories, poetry and has recently started a horror novel. In addition to these more artistic endeavors, he is also developing various clothing labels and other small business enterprises.
